  5. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors and Disk Vendors
  6. who wish to distribute the AceComm  package, including an extract from
  7. the license agreement and suggested program descriptions and keywords.

  11. The complete license agreement is contained in the file LICENSE.TXT.

  13. The following paragraph is an extract from the license agreement
  14. regarding the distribution of the Shareware version of AceComm:

  16.     You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  17.     donations, for any such copies, however made; and from distributing
  18.     the software and/or documentation with other products (commercial or
  19.     otherwise) without prior written permission, with one exception:
  20. --> Disk Vendors approved by the Association of Shareware Professionals
  21. --> are permitted to redistribute AceComm, subject to the conditions in
  22. --> this license, without specific written permission.

  34. Solid and EASY to use terminal program for Windows.  Terminal emulations
  35. include VT100, ANSIBBS and RIPscrip.  Auto port/modem detect with modem
  36. setup database.  Protocols include Ascii/Xmodem/Ymodem/YmodemG/Zmodem, with
  37. a batch upload list manager.  Supports multiple and huge phone files with
  38. on line time recorder and Call logging/summary.  Built in host mode, split
  39. screen chat with both client and host capability.  Macro language and
  40. scripts with learn mode.  Optional second status line contains function
  41. buttons for sending your name, password, toggle capture files etc.  User
  42. defined menus can be custom built using the macro language.  A scroll back
  43. buffer lets you send quoted text into messages or save all or part to
  44. file.  EMSI mailer function including file request/attach and mail poll.
  45. Terminal screen supports using mouse for character and string output, and
  46. saving images to BMP files.
